Not only do I have to buy school supplies for my own child, but I also buy supplies for the many students that enter my classroom with absolutely nothing. I work with low income students and many of them can’t afford all of the supplies needed. Needless to say, this makes me a very smart shopper while scoping the deals throughout the summer.

    My kid is still a toddler but I am a tutor for other kids at home who are in elementary school, so it would be amazing if I had these supplies so their parents and myself could take a break when it comes to spending in school supplies 🙂 (believe it or not, some parents aren’t as responsible or don’t have the money to buy all the supplies.     My granddaughter will be in 7th grade and one in Kindergarten this year.
    These supplies would certainly help with each one. School supplies are so expensive when you go to buy them. Last year, I think I spent over $100 on the 12 year old. This would surely help!!

    I’m a mother of a 6 year old daughter. I am also a 1st year teacher in Chicago Public School that will be turnaround this year. I believe this is a great way to give back to students who are in need. I’m inspired and plan to begin some type of giveaway for children with my colleagues.
