My Review: I am so happy to review these books. School is out and the summer holiday has begun. What best way to keep your children active this summer than the Summer Fit Workbooks. The Summer Fit workbooks range from P-K to 8th Grade Levels. The activities and exercises in Summer Fit will take just 60 minutes a day to complete. Each day offers a simple and fun routine that reinforces skills not only in reading, math, writing, language arts, but with physical fitness, nutrition, plus a weekly core value, and also basic history, science and geography as well.

I have never come across a workbook that incorporates reading, writing, math with fitness and nutrition. The daily fitness program consists of 2 Aerobic days, 2 Strength days and 1 Sport day.

Get tips from former Biggest Losers contestants like Jay Jacobs, Maric Crozier, Courtney Crozier and Jen Jacobs about liftstyles, weight issues and unhealthy habits.

Learn about the role models throughout history, from Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, Christa McAuliffe, Wilma Rudolph and many more.

The books are appropriate for each grade level, focusing on basics that will keep students involved with different activities and keep them ahead when school starts.

If you are looking for something to keep your child active this summer, then SUMMER FIT would be something to consider.  Summer Fit is the exercise book for your child’s brain and body while they are away from school. The activities are interesting, fun and educational. Like the book says, “prepare children mentally, physically and socially for the grade ahead!”

Summer Fit is the most comprehensive summer workbook and as a former teacher I highly recommend them.

  1. These books look lovely and novel indeed. Preparing children for the next grade and based on Common Core Standards are great ways to engage students for the fall. The series looks like fun and motivational for students.

I’d love the 6-7 and 7-8. These best suit the students with whom I work. Many thanks for all you do.

  11. My grandchildren love doing workbooks during summer quiet time. We have used the Summer Fit books before & they are great – it gets across to the kids that swimming & hiking & karate are part of being fit during the summer, along with staying smart! I’d choose 1-2 & 3-4.

  17. I would like to win the 3-4 and 7-8 books. It’s amazing how much kids forget when they are on Summer vacation. We like to keep up with our school work. It only takes 30 minutes a day to do a quick review or to read to your kids. Summer reading programs are great for kids as well!

  18. How neat these books are, I like that they incorporate activities, exercises, reading and skills that children lose in the summer if they do not keep at it. I love the fact that they are geared towards specific grades and therefore it is harder for a child to get bored with the book, I would love to share grades 5-6 and 6-7 with my granddaughters.

  20. My son is just about to start pre-k and my daughter is heading to 2nd grade. These books could be so helpful in getting them ready for school coming up fast. My daughter needs a refresher already and my son well these books would help me gauge where he is at academically. Summer Fit is a great idea!

    If I win I would like P-K and 1-2 – Thank you

  21. This really appeals to me ” Each day offers a simple and fun routine that reinforces skills not only in reading, math, writing, language arts, but with physical fitness”. My parents had us study and stay active during the summer when school was out; we had a lot of books. I like that they incorporate a lot in one book. The little video is so catchy(just a side note). I would like the P-K and k-1 if I win. Your review seems flawless to me, I can see how these books would appeal to a lot of different people with different goals/backgrounds/etc.
