My Review: We are taking a trip to Italy. This book gives readers an inside into the culture of Italy. Known in ancient times as the home of the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire stretched over almost 48 modern day countries.

Do you know that Rome was founded by Emperor Romulus in the year 753 BC? Making it one of the oldest city in Europe.

It was interesting to read that Rome is the only city in the world that has another country inside its borders, the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church which is considered as an independent state, has its capital as the Vatican City.

Learn about their currency the Euro, food and one of the most famous places in Italy, the Coliseum. Is it the largest Amphitheatre in the world built with ancient concrete and stones, and sit 5,000 to 8,000 people. The Coliseum was famous for public events like the Gladiators fights.

With only 30 pages the author did her best to give readers a lot of information including 3 pages of  pronunciation guide. I highly recommend this book for classroom teaching.

FTC Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. I was not monetarily compensated for my opinion in any way.
