Keepsake that Educates!

Author/Book Spotlight: Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Old School.

About the Book: Life was better in the old days. Or was it?

That’s the question Greg Heffley is asking as his town voluntarily unplugs and goes electronics-free. But modern life has its conveniences, and Greg isn’t cut out for an old-fashioned world.

With tension building inside and outside the Heffley home, will Greg find a way to survive? Or is going “old school” just too hard for a kid like Greg?

After spending the summer at Film Camp, where Greg watched movies in an air-conditioned theater eight hours a day, he’s back in school faces a full house back home. New additions to the Heffley household include a carefree pig that comes and goes as it pleases, and Grandpa, who causes his own kinds of trouble for everyone. Even worse, Dad is seriously on Greg’s case. When Greg’s lemonade stand with his friend Rowley goes sour, and the Girl Scouts come after him, his only hope is to get away by joining a weeklong trip at Hardscrabble Farms. But once there, a mysterious farmer named Silas Scratch threaten to ruin Greg’s plans for some quite time away from home.

Will Greg find a way to survive? Or is going “old school” just too hard for him?

  1. This is such an incredible series. Jeff Kinney found a stoy that the kids all connected to and follow. He’s such a young looking man and has received such fame with his Diay Of A Wimpy Kid. Thanks for the review.
