  1. I have wanted The School for Good and Evil for quite some time now. I’ve read some great reviews about this book. While I’m not familiar with the other two books, they both sound wonderful, and fall soundly within the reading categories that interest my children. I’m trying hard to keep both children occupied with their reading this summer so their reading levels do not drop over the summer break. Thank you for continuing to find great books.   2. I have never heard of these 3 children’s books before but just by looking at the covers they look very exciting with lots of adventures. I have 2 boys ages 7 and 11 that really to be honest do not like to read. They have hard times reading in school. Sometimes I think the books that are chosen for them do not catch their interest enough for them to continue the books. I love to to find them books that are happy, upbeat and stories they can relate to. The Secret of Zoom and The Invisible Blanket looks like my boys would really enjoy and me too. Most of the books out there are for girls and have some kind of love story in them. They are not ready for that just yet. With Summer break almost here all they want to do is play but I have to incorporate some reading with them too. Thank you.

  3. I’ve heard a lot of good things about The School for Good and Evil. It has a really cool cover too. I love the swans, I’ve never heard of the other two, but I love children’s books. I’m going to be a librarian, so I’m trying to grow my collection to share with Kiddies for story time.

  4. I will not be entering this contest mainly because I have no children! If I did I would certainly try to win them. They look like great books which will keep the kids interested. Anything that keeps children interested in reading is ok in my book!

  6. My daughter reads all the time. She has been reading the books Ever After High. I think she would love to read The School for Good and Evil. I guess she’s inherited my love of paranormal and fantasy books!

  7. I have been teaching 3rd grade for 30 years (still teaching) and love to share my passion of reading to my students. It is so important to get them to love reading when they are young. Hope to win!

  9. i really have not heard of the books only “the school for good and evil” cause my daughter keeps talking about it. she said its a really good book you should read it mom..lol its on her book list she wants, (mom smiles glad shes a reader)
    She would recommend that book.

  12. I have six kids from age 7 to 17 and as an author, I really try to get them into reading with stories that really engage them. I really liked the concept for the school of good and evil. Switching the girls may not be a mistake, but a result of what’s really in their hearts. I plan to get this book for my kids because they seemed genuinely interested and I have a feeling there’s a positive lesson to be learned. Thank you, Billi Wagner (billi.wagner@yahoo.com)

  13. Having read the School For Good and Evil I can tell you that it is wonderful. Every child I’ve recommend the book to has loved it. Our library is planning a back-to-school competition where children will vote on their favorite fictional school and I suspect that the School For Good and Evil will be a strong contender….it definitely gets my vote. If I win this book it will be used a a prize for our competition.

    The Secret of Zoom looks wonderful. I’d read it just based on the cover art and the title.

    I admit that I’m a bit of a cover snob and while I’m not really drawn to the cover or title of The Invisible Blanket, a 5-star review (like the one I read on GoodReads) might prompt me to take a second look.

  14. These all look like incredibly delightful, appealing books and I have not heard of any of them. The School for Good and Evil I one my granddaughters would truly enjoy. The Secret of Zoom and the Invisible blanket would be great for my grandsons. Also, these are great books for our Summer Reading Program!

  21. I am a school librarian and I am excited to say that we own The Secret of Zoom. This book is popular with my 4th and 5th grade students (interest level 3-6 and reading level 4.8). Although I am not familiar with the other two titles, I researched The School for Good and Evil and plan to purchase this title for my library. Fractured fairy tales and rewrites are a current trend in children’s literature so this will be a great addition to my collection! The interest level for the book is 5-8 and the reading level is 5.2. I could not find information on The Invisible Blanket from my vendor but I will say that the cover would grab the attention of my boys (2nd-4th).

  27. I am the grandmom who loves to read and I wish and get my granddaughters a lot of books so that they can read a lot. I have seen reviews on the Garden of Good and Evil and think it is a book my older granddaughter would enjoy, THank you for sharing your love of reading with the rest of us

  31. I’m not very familiar with these 3 books but what I can say is that all of them have some great covers. The art on the front of a book is what pulls me in with a children’s book and these ones are great.

  34. The graphics on the covers are lovely. They do an excellent job at telling you what the book is about. Looks like my little girl would enjoy these. We read to her every night. She loves it.
