Book Review: My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook.
My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook by Phil A. Smouse.
About the Book: Turn ho-hum story time into an amazing experience for inspiring your grandchildren to discover and celebrate God’s love for them! My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook is a wonderful way to treasure your moments together while sharing your faith and helping your grandchildren understand challenging concepts such as salvation, God’s plan for our lives, and what it means to be forgiven. Each story includes a powerful Love Note from God that kids can memorize and hide in their hearts forever. There’s also a sweet Love Note from Grandma that you can read to your grandchildren to help remind them of how much they are treasured and loved.
My Review: My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook is a great book to share with grandchildren. Each stories from Creation, Adam and Eve and more to the resurration of Jesus has been summarized making it easy for children ages 2-5 to understand. And each story includes a scripture verse, a love note from God and a love note from Grandma. As you read discover and celebrate the love God has for us all.
We all know the story of Noah and the Art.
Love note from Grandma. “I love you so much. But God loves you even more! And he wants you to trust him. When you’re at home, in the car, or even outside playing, God is watching over you. God kept Noah safe. He will make sure you are safe too.
Love note from God. “You protect me from my troubles.” Psalm 32:7
This is the perfect gift for grandmas to spend quality time with their grandchildren. The illustrations by Ela Jarzabek are heartwarming, bold and colorful which will pull in any child’s attention. I recommend this book as it will expose children to the love of God.
FTC Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from the Tyndale in exchange for a fair and honest review. I was not monetarily compensated for my opinion in any way.

About the Author: Phil A. Smouse wanted to be a scientist. But scientists don’t get wonderful letters and pictures from boys and girls all over the world. So Phil decided to draw and color instead.
An accomplished author, illustrator, animator, and graphic artist, Phil has written and illustrated over forty books for children and adults, including Jesus Wants All of Me, the award-winning, million-plus-selling adaptation of Oswald Chambers’s classic daily devotional, My Utmost for His Highest.
Phil and his wife, Annette, live in southwestern Pennsylvania. They have two amazing children and one beautiful granddaughter they love with all their hearts.
About the Illustrator: Ela Jarzabek (Elżbieta Jarząbek) lives in Katowice, Poland. She is single and loves her work.
From an early age, Ela loved to draw and paint. When she was just a few years old and did not even know how to write, she added her own drawings to her already illustrated fairy tale books. Soon she was creating her own stories with animals and princesses.
Several years ago Ela graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków as a graphic designer and painter. She now works as a freelance illustrator . . . and still loves to paint animals, princesses, and many other things as well.

My name is Ella Johnson. I started Mymcbooks to promote reading. As a former teacher, I know that making basic education fundamentals interesting to children can be challenging. Education can be fun, exciting and captivating for children with the right learning tools. So my goal is to “make learning interesting and fun” for the children while they learn, by introducing them to fun books with colorful and captivating illustrations.
In 2009, I start the giveaway program giving away free school supplies at random to 2 winners each year. I also started a monthly free giveaways for books and gifts.
August 2010, I extended the free school supplies from 2 to 5 winners at random on my blog and also give away 20 bags full of school supplies to familes in need at Chick-fil-A in Brandon, Florida during their family nights. And in 2012, I beat my that number and gave away a lot of school supplies to needy families. Hopefully, I can continue to do this each year.
In 2011, I started writing reviews on children’s books then giving these books away free on Mymcbooks Blog. I increase the number of books we giveaway free to help support parent. My goal is to give away as many as I can each year. This is also a great way to introduce parents to new books.
Mymcbooks blog is always looking for other ways to give kids free books. So I started Mymcbooks Birthday Library http://mymcbooksbirthdaylibrary.wordpress.com/
My goal is to giveaway at least 300 books to children each year.
