Book Review: Kregel Blog Tour. 99 Stories from the Bible

99 Stories from the Bible

99 Stories from the Bible by Juliet David and illustrated by Elina Ellis

About the Book: Following the narrative of the Bible, this collection of 99 stories starts with At the Beginning, and covers a wide variety of key events, including Samuel Listens, Esther, A Blind Man Sees, and Jesus Walks on the Lake, through to One Day Jesus Will Return. Each story is told over a double page spread with vibrant illustrations and some full page art.

My Review: I have reviewed a lot of bible books and the 99 Stories from the Bible are very engaging and easy to read. This would make a great bedtime story for kids. The 99 Stories includes stories from the Old and New Testaments.

The book illustrations by Elina Ellis are colorful and has bold pictures that helps bring the stories to life. The text is easy to read and you will find that these stories are so engaging that your child wouldn’t want you to stop read until you have read every page.

FTC Disclosure: I received a review copy of this book from Kregel Publications in exchange for a fair and honest review. I was not monetarily compensated for my opinion in any way.

  1. I haven’t heard of this book, but it looks like a great book to add to my collection of Bible stories. I like that it covers the new and old testament.
