Keepsake that Educates!

Book Spotlight/Giveaway: Gravediggers: Terror Cove. Ends Dec 20th

Gravediggers: Terror Cove by Christopher Krovatin

Last time, it was all an accident—a class nature trip gone horrifically wrong. One minute, Ian, Kendra, and PJ were lost in a mountain forest, and the next, they were facing down a horde of flesh-eating zombies. In order to survive, the gang had to outwit the undead and figure out a way to banish them from our world. Luckily, they succeeded . . .

. . . but this time, there are no accidents. Evil seeks out the newly christened Gravediggers, and they are more than ready to fight back. (Or so they think.)

Ian, Kendra, and PJ are on a family vacation in the tropics when they are warned about an island called Isla Hambrienta, where a huge cruise liner sank off the coast years ago. The karma out there is so dark and ominous, mystical Warden O’Dea tags along as they investigate. What none of them expects to find is a zombie colony much stronger than the one they defeated on the mountain—and another presence on the island that’s way more dangerous than the disgusting creatures they’re supposed to turn to dust.

Readers who crave action, frights, and thrills will love this second book in the Gravediggers series.

  • Age Range: 8 – 12 years

  • Series: Gravediggers

My take on this book – If you like reading about zombies and horror then you will like this book. Just don’t turn the lights off when you go to bed….hahahaha!

  1. I have a hard time finding books for my 10 year old as he is starting to discover different genres. I recently found out he loves Lois Duncan. With that, I believe this is one that he may enjoy. I am going to check it out for a Christmas gift. Thanks for giving me a new author to discover.

  2. My nine year old son would love this. He’s having a hard time finding anything that holds his attention. (He’s severely ADHD) This book sounds like something that would interest him enough to encourage him to learn to read more on his own. He loves action heroes, action movies, and zombies.

  4. I have a younger cousin and this would be a great Christmas gift for her. She’s into zombies big time! haha! I love that this book seems to focus around things that are realistic such as the school trip. This would make it even a scarier read for the young ones!

  6. I have a son and the books his school has for the kids to read bore him. He needs more excitement and fast paced adventure. I think he’d like this one. His school doesn’t allow the whole horror/zombie idea books but I don’t see anything wrong with the right age group reading them.
