Book Review/Kregel Blog Tour: Bible and Prayers for Teddy and Me

Bible and Prayers

Bible and Prayers for Teddy and Me retold by Christina Goodings and illustrated by Janet Samuel

About the Book: This Bible storybook contains twelve favorite episodes from the Old and New Testaments, chosen to emphasize the message of God’s love and care. Each story concludes with a blessing, prayer, or reflection, which is illustrated with the child and the teddy bear together. Children will love the endearing teddy bear illustrations which will help them to relate easily to the stories and prayers.

My Review: This is a cute bible story book for children ages 3-8 years old. The Bible and Prayers for Teddy and Me shares the wonderful word of God, His love and power from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The 12 stories are In the Beginning, Noah and the Ark, Baby Moses, David and Goliath, Jonah Learns a Lesson, Daniel and the Lions, Jesus is Born, Jesus the Teacher, The Story of the Sower, The Lost Sheep, The Farmer’s Son, The Man in the Tree, The Good Samaritan, and The First Easter.

It has a padded front cover and the book is colorful and has bold pictures that helps bring the stories to life. The text is easy to read and you will find that these stories are so engaging that your child would want you to read it again and again.
