Keepsake that Educates!

Book Review/Giveaway: Someone’s Sleepy. Ends July 17th.

Someone Sleepy

Someone’s Sleepy by Deborah Lee Rose and Illustrated by Dan Andreasen

About the book: In this tender rhyming picture book, a mother readies her child for bed. Their nighttime ritual includes bathtime, brushing teeth, hugs, and a storybook read aloud. Once tucked under the covers with stuffed animals, the child is lulled to sleep, watched over by her night-light and puppy friend. This is a wonderful bedtime story with sweet text by Deborah Lee Rose, complemented by the warm illustrations of Dan Andreasen.

My Review: The stardust sky and the silver moon is out and little toddler and her puppy yawns. Her mother knows its time to put her to bed but first she must give her a bath, wash her sleepy hands and feet. She put her sleepy body in her pajamas as she gets ready to be tucked into her bed with her quilt.  As she lay in bed she is kissed good night on her sleepy cheek by her mother. She hugs her bear and bunny and gently falls asleep.

This bedtime story by Deborah Lee Rose with the warm illustrations of Dan Andreasen will get your child ready for bed.
