Book Review/Giveaway: The Princess..the Pearls… and the Pekingese. Ends Nov 10th

About the Author: Elizabeth Jamie Katz grew up in New Orleans and graduated from LoyolaUniversity with a degree in communication. She has previously worked with her husband to co-author several books on Christian Financial Planning, including the best-selling Money Came By The House The Other Day.

Jamie’s passion is to create a Christian children’s book series to help young girls know their Heavenly Father and His unconditional love for them. She hopes that these books will serve as modern day parables which teach God’s Word in a way that is both entertaining and easy to understand.

The Princess…the Pearls…& the Pekingese by Elizabeth Jamie Katz and Illustrated by Dominick Blanda

About the Book: This is the story of a young princess…but she’s not your ordinary princess. She is the daughter of the Creator of the universe, The King of Kings! The Princess and her adorable Pekingese have a special and timeless message for young girls everywhere… that they too are princesses!

Join the princess and her faithful companion as they embark on adventures which illustrate and teach about God’s love for His daughters and their priceless value to Him.

My Review: This is a story about a young princess who knows that she is a priceless treasure and wants every little girl to know that they are too.

“So dance, twirl, and wear your pearls! Dance with joy, ‘cause you’re God’s precious girl!”

Every child should know that they are beautiful for they are God’s masterpiece. The most priceless treasure at the bottom of the sea can not match the value that God gives to His children. The author said the most expensive jewels can’t compare with your value because that’s how much God loves you. His love is wider than the sky, higher than any airplane. This is a great book for every little princess. I highly recommend this book for every home with a little girl and including yourself because God loves you.

  1. What a great sounding book. This is something I try to impress upon my GodDaughter. She is my little princess. We want her to feel as blessed as we do that she is a part of our lives.

  4. When my 5 daughters were very young my Mom would sit them down and tel them how much God and his son loved them and how they more important and precious then any jewel. And even though my youngest is now 25 there are times when I still have to make her aware that no one loves her more then her creator whenever she’s overwhelmed emotionally. This book sounds like such a wonderful read for all the little princesses out there.

  8. I simply love anything that sounds like a fairy tale, so my attention was caught. Then, mentioning pearls pulled me in even more because I have such a love for pearls. Most of all, learning that this is a book that teaches young girls about their divine worth has me wanting to read this book and add it to my library. It is a relief to find such a book that encourages and inspires young girls to learn about who they really are. Thank you for this review and telling me about this great book!
