My Review: What is Stella going to do about her nervous tummy? The Dragon Realms Talent Contest is tomorrow and she is worried that she will toot fire and stink up the place and ruin her chances of winning. Her friend Allen decided that they should practice until she is no longer nervous. But her stomach gurgle-gurgled and BRRRT!  But Allen had a solution, the next day he brought Stella a platter of blueberry muffins. Did the muffins help Stella stop farting and win the completion?

Stella had a good friend in Allen who kept on encouraging her. This story will help children believe in themselves that no matter the situation they can overcome it. Just make sure you have a good friend that would stand by you no matter what even if your fart stink….LOL! The bold and colorful illustrations by Jack Foster help with the story. I highly recommend this book for your children’s library and for classroom reading.

  4. Stella, The Fire Farting Dragon looks like it will be a good book to read to my grandson. He will be able to learn how to think through a difficult situation, the story-line is good, and the pictures are brightly colored. That will keep him interested.

  5. I would love this book for my grandsons – the sillier and more able to laugh at, and accept, our bodily functions as being a normal part of life, the better, because haven’t we all suffered embarrassing moments along the way?

  7. his would be perfect for my one grandson. His cousin had a whoopee cushion and he doubled over with laughter because of it.   8. Many kids know what it’s like to have an embarrassing habit that they can’t (or don’t think they can) control. And what is more funny than farting fire?!? This will be a great book to help kids bolster self esteem when dealing with embarrassing situations.

  10. My Grandchildren ages 3 and 9 would adore this book. Who couldn’t relate to Stella? Who hasn’t had a nervous stomach before? The illustrations are great! This book would capture every childs interest. I Love It!

  17. The author of this book is a truly wonderful and educated person. I know her and am so proud to see that she has succeeded in publishing her books. My son finds all of her books hilarious and I enjoy the way Jessica can take issues that children face and explain it to them in a way that kids can understand and in a way that makes them laugh. The laughter keeps them entertained and keeps their attention so the issue can be learned. We all get nervous and that is a difficult thing to explain to my three year old son; however, Stella explains it to him perfectly while making him giggle uncontrollably!

  23. this sounds truly adorable. kids always get a giggle out of bodily noises.the fact that is also deals with a true type of medical condition that can affect anyone of any age is nice as well, that way maybe the child or reader of the book can connect to it in a special way. it is always great to see books that people can sympathize with and see that the struggles are something that can be overcome and you can still come out a winner in the end.(no pun intended) plus i love dragons. cant wait to read it.

  29. Such a cute idea. What a clever way of incorporating a lesson on the importance of true-blue friends and trying your best combined with the silliness of the book. My daughter would be absolutely tickled by this book.
