Yellow Princess Gets A Pet (Perfectly Princess) By Alyssa Crowne
A spunky series for any girl who dreams of being a princess. The book even looks magical — it’s printed on yellow pages!
For as long as she can remember, Abby has wanted two things: to be a magical princess and to get a pet. And now one of her dreams is about to come true — she’s adopting a pet! At first, Abby can’t make up her mind about what animal to get. A yellow canary? A sweet little bunny? A fluffy white kitten? But Abby’s in for a surprise. The perfect pet for this princess may be the last thing she expects!
Up and Down By Oliver Jeffers
A penguin has wings for a reason . . . doesn’t he? Having a best friend with his own airplane is one thing, but actually experiencing what it feels like to fly by himself? Here is one penguin who believes this is precisely what he needs to feel complete. Only . . . if flying by himself is so wonderful, then why does he feel so empty?
Do Princesses Have Best Friends Forever? By Carmela LaVigna Coyle
In the first new Princesses book in four years, Carmela LaVigna Coyle celebrates friendship as two girls play dress-up, make forts from blankets and sheets, stomp in the mud, and generally do all the things that best friends do. Let’s make two bracelets with a double pink heart/And THEN we can wear them when we’re apart. I wish that our play date would never, ever end/That’s how it feels when you have a best friend.
Artemis the Brave (Goddess Girls) By Joan Holub, Suzanne Williams
The Goddess Girls by Joan Holub and Suzanne Williams put a modern spin on classic Greek myths!
Another Whole Nother Story By Dr. Cuthbert Soup
The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to end an ancient family curse and save their mother. Now that the LVR (a super-secret time machine) is in working order, it should be easy peasy. Except they didn’t account for one basic rule of science: Murphy’s Law, where everything that possibly could go wrong, does.
Alcatraz Versus The Shattered Lens By Brandon Sanderson
The fourth and final book in the fabulously funny Alcatraz Smedry series!
Alcatraz Smedry is on a mission to save the day! In his final adventure in the series by bestselling adult fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson, Alcatraz has a lot to prove and, as always, little time in which to do it!

My name is Ella Johnson. I started Mymcbooks to promote reading. As a former teacher, I know that making basic education fundamentals interesting to children can be challenging. Education can be fun, exciting and captivating for children with the right learning tools. So my goal is to “make learning interesting and fun” for the children while they learn, by introducing them to fun books with colorful and captivating illustrations.
In 2009, I start the giveaway program giving away free school supplies at random to 2 winners each year. I also started a monthly free giveaways for books and gifts.
August 2010, I extended the free school supplies from 2 to 5 winners at random on my blog and also give away 20 bags full of school supplies to familes in need at Chick-fil-A in Brandon, Florida during their family nights. And in 2012, I beat my that number and gave away a lot of school supplies to needy families. Hopefully, I can continue to do this each year.
In 2011, I started writing reviews on children’s books then giving these books away free on Mymcbooks Blog. I increase the number of books we giveaway free to help support parent. My goal is to give away as many as I can each year. This is also a great way to introduce parents to new books.
Mymcbooks blog is always looking for other ways to give kids free books. So I started Mymcbooks Birthday Library http://mymcbooksbirthdaylibrary.wordpress.com/
My goal is to giveaway at least 300 books to children each year.
