BookSpotlight/Giveaway: If I Speak True. Ends Feb 17th

 If I Speak True

Book Summary: Dahlia Kennedy’s sixteenth birthday marks a decade of mysterious dahlias arriving and strange, lonely dreams of being in a forest. The only difference this birthday, however, is that for the first time, someone is there with her. And he’s practically from a whole other era.

The more often Dahlia visits Rowan in his land of Ambrosia, the stronger their connection grows. But… is Ambrosia real? Is he real? What is going on between the two of them, exactly, and why does he insist that she keep it to herself?

As secrets usually go, however, it’s only a matter of time before everything comes out. And when Dahlia finds out the truth of who Rowan is, who she is, and how he really feels — it’s beyond anything she could have ever imagined.

  1. I love fantasies and this sounds like a true fantasy adventure. With a 4 star rating, this book must be quite good. I’m curious to know about the connection Dahlia feels with Rowan. And are her visits to Ambrosia during her dreams seemingly for a lengthy time? So many questions, few answers. This sounds like a great story, indeed.

  2. The description is very well done. The reader doesn’t know anything about the book, but this blurb dangles and offer of mystery, fantasy and adventure. It gives just enough for the reader to want to explore more. Well done.

  3. This book sounds like something Twilight fans would enjoy. The strong “connection” between Dahlia and Rowan seems like Edward and Bella’s. They are from different eras, but fit together. The names Dahlia, Ambrosia, and Rowan bring to mind Greek myths.
