Book Review/Giveaway: Party Animals. Ends Nov 15th

Party Animals

Party Animals written by Saragine Francois & Julian Francois and illustrated by Somnath Chatterje

About the Book: In this fun-filled delightful story, this picture book opens with a mischievous plan where Mabel throws a secret party for all her animal friends after Mama departs with her daughter Ellen for the night. When her sidekick Wolf advices her not to go with the plan, Mabel ignores his request and proceeds by telephoning all of her friends to join her in this evening’s festivity. As the night explodes with loud music and laughter, an uninvited animal friend requests that he joins the party. During their celebration, a nosy neighbor notifies Mama at once and the mood quickly shifts to a panic.

My Review: This story is a real life scenario in many households where the family leaves the house for the weekend and the children decide they are going to throw a party. To make things worse, uninvited guests shows up to cause problems that make the neighbors alert their parents. And that is what happened to Mabel the dog who decided to throw a party to impress their friends while her owner Mama took Ellen to spend the night at her friend’s place.

The illustrations by Somnath Chatterje brought the story to life with bold and bright colors which help tells the story which will make it fun for readers of all ages to enjoy.

I enjoyed reading this story and will recommend it for every household.
