About the Author

Tyler Whitesides worked as a janitor at an elementary school to put himself through college. He graduated with a degree in music. In addition to writing novels, Tyler is an avid composer and arranger of instrumental music. He is married to his lovely wife, Connie, who teaches third grade.

  1. I would’ve never thought my school janitors would be wizards. Superheroes, yes. Wizards no. This sounds like a fun story series. I wonder if hotel maids have secrets too. Exiled princesses raising a secret coalition to free their people. Great way to think “outside the box” for the author.

  2. Janitors looks like a really interesting read. I think Whitesides has come up with an amazing idea. People aren’t who they appear to be. Everyone is important and can make a difference, and we should not be defined by our jobs. This book looks like it will be a fun, adventurous read!

  5. My daughter is so excited about this series, when she would tell me about it I was sure she was saying the name wrong. Seriously! You got kids excited about janitors. She ended up buying it with her own $, I’m so excited to see her finally catch the fire with reading. I peeked into the first few pages and had to stop myself from reading further because I had kids to pick up. It is part of our state recommended reading list for her age group.
