I teach in a predominantly black school and am always on the lookout for authors and books to share with my students. I want my students to be proud of who they are and know they can accomplish and be anything.

At our school, we celebrate Black History Month through many lessons in our social studies and reading classes. It is very important for our students today to learn about the history of our country and the hardships that people had to endure. These books would be a great addition to any classroom! Thank you for the opportunity!
