I’d love to give this book to my son. Shepard is an important to remember, and tolerance is an important lesson to teach.
It looks like it would be an excellent book for anyone to read not just children.
What a sad day in America’s history but such an important lesson to learn, Hopefully this book will help us all remember that we are all just people and we all deserve good lives. A very important book!
What a great tribute. I sense that this book will become a classic. Please enter my name to win this copy of Leslea Newman’s beautiful poetry cycle.

sounds like something my kids would like-fastone3104@yahoo.com
Omg I read the description and wanted to cry. I think this would be a very good book to read with my son.
I remember this event as if it was yesterday. My heart still breaks for his family and the life he was deprived of due to igmorance and evil.
I love that the Author created her monologues from the point of view from the fence he was tied to, stars that watched over him etc etc.Mathew’s story should be read by every Adult and teen.

This book sounds great; I would love for my son to read it-tolerance is definitely something students must learn!
Sounds like an important book that I would like to read and share with my daughters when they are a little bit older.
Sounds like a great read for my oldest son. The lessons he could learn would be very valuable in this book.
