Book Review/Giveaway: Tootsie and Lulu. Ends Feb 29th
Tootsie and Lulu: Lulu Wears a Tutu by Wendy Botts and Illustrated by Julie Weaver.
About the Book: Established in 2011, Tootsie and Lulu is a children’s book series based on the real life stories of Elaina Botts “Tootsie” and her English bulldog, Lulu.
My Review: Tootsie was upset because she couldn’t go out to play because it was raining. So she decided to practice ballet but she needed a partner to practice with. When her brothers, dad and mom couldn’t play with her because they were busy, she thought her English bulldog, Lulu will be the perfect partner to dance with her.
Tootsie wasn’t going to let the weather or her family, stop her from dancing. She was determined to practice ballet even if she had to teach her dog how to dance. Great fun book for children age 4 and up.

Based on a real life person, this will be a great teaching tool for my 18 month old greatbgrandson.
My granddaughter would enjoy this book immensely.

This sounds adorable! What a cute way to give a lessons to little ones!
My granddaughters just started dance classes, and dressing up their dog…I guess it’s only logical that they teach him to dance next! Tootsie and Lulu can teach them how!
I like the idea that she didn’t give up and found someone to dance with. Were the illustrations good quality?
sounds good, my niece would love this as she likes ballet
I like that she wouldn’t let anything get in the way of her dancing.

My daughter would love this. She loves dogs, and just told me she wants to take dance class.
This is adorable! It would be great for one of those early dismissal days
What a cute story! I can see my daughter finding this enjoyable, since she is currently taking dance classes (including ballet).
