Book Review and Giveaway: I’m Squirrely! Ends November 13th
I’m Squirrely! written by Brenda Lochinger and illustrated by Jeffrey Duckworth
Follow the adventures of Squirrely, who can’t help but to be wiggly and a day dreamer!
My Review: In this book, the author introduces us to Squirrely who gets distracted easily as he likes to run, laugh and play. He is constantly moving and grooving without freezing. He finds it hard to sit still as he has so much going on in his mind even when it comes to bedtime he just sit and think.
He never pays attention in class and gets the answers to the questions wrong. He sometimes gets upset and is always struggling to listen. Sometimes he wishes he can just focus. But no matter how much he moves or plays his family still loves him very much.
I think most parents with children who suffer from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) can relate with Squirrely. This book is a great book to share with children that have ADHD. It will help them understand their situation better.

I would love to read this book. I think a squirrel sounds like a great character to demonstrate ADD.

My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with squirrels! She would LOVE this book!
Omg that book description sounds just like my daughter. I have wondered if she has adhd. I think this may be good for both of us.

I would love to give this book to my niece. She comes to my house to feed the “squirrelys” on weekends. My husband calls me “Ace Ventura” because all of the animals in the neighborhood tend to congregate at our house
…could have something to do with the supply of peanuts I keep inside the patio door….
