Book Review: Little Star by Anthony DeStefano
I received a copy of Anthony DeStefano children’s book Little Star from Waterbrook Press to review. This is a Christmas story told differently focusing on the Star and the message of love.
The story starts with the child asking his Dad, “which one is the Christmas Star?” His Dad began telling him the story of the Christmas Star.
He tells about the smallest star in the sky, how he was ignored by other stars because he was so tiny. Little Star gives a creative perspective on the birth of Jesus and his desire to show his love for the newborn Baby Jesus. He burnt brighter and extended his ray down to the stable to keep Baby Jesus warm. This book is beautifully illustrated by Mark Elliott. I highly recommend this book to every parent for Christmas to read to their love ones.
There is a YouTube video about this story. Visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIOfz_I6Z0k and to order your copy visit http://astore.amazon.com/memchiboogif-20
